People have doubts and it’s very normal to doubt everything you come across online (especially training platforms and courses) because of all fake gurus that make money for themselves by pushing out digital products that, most of the time, don’t help people.

There are also people who are very optimistic when they find & join Wealthy Affiliate only to doubt the process after a couple of weeks in.

But here’s the thing.

Wealthy Affiliate provides all information in a well-structured training and it provides all tools you would need.

Therefore, all you have to do is follow the training. But…

There’s always but, yes. But you will need to put a lot of hours into creating something of your own, learning new skills, following the training, and building out your website (your own online business).

Great thing is that you get to do all of this while you’re still learning – but this can still take some people a bit more time before they see their first results.

And when you add the factor that ranking your business online takes time as well – you should look at this as a long-term process instead of a get-rich-quick scheme.

Wealthy Affiliate is as legit as it can be. It is a platform with extensive history and with many members who’ve experienced success because of Wealthy Affiliate.

But still, it’s hard not to have doubts whether Wealthy Affiliate is just another platform that makes the owners rich and isn’t always doing their best for the interest of the members.

Personally, I’ve finished the Wealthy Affiliate training, I’ve had two websites that I’ve made with the help of Wealthy Affiliate, and that I’ve managed by implementing everything I’ve learned at Wealthy Affiliate.

I saw the first money coming in around the 4th month for the first website and it was about the 6th month for the second website. In the end, I was even able to sell the websites online as they were really well set up and they were on the path to providing even better results.

Therefore, I have witnessed the whole process and I guarantee that it has worked for me. Is it going to work for everyone else?

It will, as long as you keep learning, implementing everything you learn, and making steady progress with your website.

Personally, I believe that if Wealthy Affiliate was a scam or if it wasn’t legit – it would have really negative reviews out there and the word would really get out, especially considering that they’ve been in business for 15 years now.

Wealthy Affiliate is one of the rare platforms that still offers free membership type. It is not a trial membership, yet it’s a free starter membership that you can stay for as long as you wish.

Knowing that you can be a part of such an awesome platform for free without having the pressure of upgrading just shows how much Wealthy Affiliate cares for its members.

However, if you ever decide to upgrade, you’ll be able to unlock more training, better access to tools, access to some features of the platform, build more websites, and engage with the community for a very decent price.

Wealthy Affiliate has Been Around for 15 Years

I have already mentioned this in the article, but it’s a pretty unbelievable fact that deserves to be mentioned.

The owners have started out the platform as the keyword list provider and they’ve worked their way from there to upgrade and establish a platform that we know today as Wealthy Affiliate.

This also means that they’ve been doing everything from their own experience and knowledge as they saw a huge potential in affiliate marketing which is still very strong today.

The Price Wasn’t Increased for 14 Years Straight

The price of the Premium membership type didn’t change for 14 years and it only had a slight increase recently.

The increase is more than justified considering the amount of training that has been added to the platform in the meantime, the increase in running costs, the number of available tools, and other factors.

Even if you only consider the inflation – Wealthy Affiliate is still making less money than it was making when they released the first version of the platform yet they still keep on operating as if they are netting billions.

With the recent update, they’ve also introduced a third membership type which is perfect for advanced marketers, and yet it’s not going to break the bank of a marketer who has had a bit of marketing success so far.

It’s Constantly Getting Updated But the Updates are a Bit Slow

It’s true that Wealthy Affiliate is constantly being updated – but they’re sometimes a bit slow on updating certain parts of the training.

The training is still up-to-date, yet with the interface changes in almost all websites and tools – they’re just lacking a bit of time in re-recording the video lessons.

But this isn’t something to worry about as they’re working on it and you’ll still be able to learn everything you need to know, but just with a couple of twists along the way.

Community is Wonderful

Working on your own online business can be lonely and letting people know about it might just make it even worse (some of you might know what I’m talking about).

Some people just won’t understand you and will even try to pull you back into the 9-5 life where your only worry is beating the traffic to work and beating the traffic back home.

However, Wealthy Affiliate has millions of members who are very active within the platform. There are also a couple of ways to interact with everyone on the platform which makes it the perfect place to be as a blogger/affiliate marketer/online business owner.

For me, it’s really interesting to see people of all ages, from all walks of life, and from all countries all around the world – learning and working on their own business for a better tomorrow.

One thing is for sure, you’ll never lack motivation!

Training is Well Structured

I’ve probably talked about training in a couple of other posts, but I just can’t stress enough the quality of the training over there.

It’s definitely not the best training out there, but it’s one of the top training you can get.

What I like about training is that its text, combined with video, and tasks you have to do after every lesson. This will ensure that you implement things as you learn which means the fastest and the best way to move forward and make progress.

It Just Got a “Facelift” (Biggest Update so Far!)

I’ve briefly mentioned the most recent update at the platform and I consider it to be the biggest facelift so far.

The whole platform has been restructured to provide better navigation, easier access, and a smooth experience to all users.

It is a large update and it really shows that the Wealthy Affiliate team has been working hard. There was nothing wrong with the previous design & interface of the platform.

But the Wealthy Affiliate team really did put a lot of effort into making it even better for the members and that just shows how legit the whole platform is.

It has Everything You Need

I’ve already mentioned this before, but Wealthy Affiliate really has everything you would need. Of course, not all features are available to free (starter) members – but if you decide to upgrade, you won’t have to look elsewhere.

Right within the platform, you’ll be able to:

• Create a website
• Find and register a domain name
• Find keywords
• Write content
• Get feedback
• Access support
• Engage with other marketers
• Chat with the owners

Founders are Awesome

I did my best to describe everything you can expect within the platform – but I should also mention the owners, Kyle and Carson.

They’ve started this platform 15 years ago and they’re still fully managing the platform with a bit of help.

Kyle can often be found in the chat inside the platform and if you catch him at the right time – you can ask him anything and he always takes time to greet people and answer as many questions as he can.

Carson can also be found in the chat, but it’s a bit rare and if you ever get a chance to catch him in the chat – you can ask him questions that are related more to the technical side of the Wealthy Affiliate.

They’re also very friendly on social media so if you’re on Instagram, I highly recommend following both Kyle and Carson. Personally, I tend to get motivation when seeing cool things they do and behind-the-scenes sneak peeks!

Wealthy Affiliate is one of the top platforms you can join if you’re looking to learn how affiliate marketing works, how you can create a blog/website online and monetize it, but also learn valuable skills that you can freelance out and earn additional income.

Of course, there are a couple of other programs that might have as good information and training – but I am a big fan of Wealthy Affiliate because it offers more than training.

It offers all tools you need and you will be a part of a community that will always have your back.

Starter (free) membership is definitely worth trying out because you have nothing to lose and if you like the platform, like the training and you decide to stick around and give it your best – upgrading is the best way to keep moving forward.
