What is Vindale Research?
Vindale Research is a platform that offers surveys that you can do at home and get paid for each survey you complete.
As we all know, a survey has always been one of the most popular ways to make some quick money online. It might not be much, but if you find a couple of decent platforms, you can make some extra money.
So is Vindale Research legit or you’re wasting your time right here?
Well, Vindale Research is not a scam, and even though it seems really legit – there is a couple of things that concerned me and that’s exactly what I’ll share with you below.
The Good
On the surface, Vindale Research has a very simple process. It might seem too simple.
All you have to do is join the platform, browse paid surveys (or have them emailed to you), choose a survey – and earn credit when you finish it.
From there, you can pay out the credits through PayPal where you receive your currency. The process is simple and it looks smooth and that’s definitely something you’re looking for when you’re making money completing surveys.
Another positive thing I noticed is that Vindale Research has a great (and safe) BBB rating. This means that they’re definitely legit and that they definitely pay the earnings out.
The third thing I liked (but I think is always important) is the time required to complete each survey. Therefore, you will know exactly whether you have the time or not to complete the survey but also whether a survey is worth your time.
However, other than that, I wasn’t able to find anything else to consider good or beneficial to the user. Instead, I found many flaws that make me wonder whether anyone should even join Vindale Research.
The Bad
Alright, let’s get straight into it. Everyone is thinking of joining Vindale Research to make some money. Unfortunately, I don’t think you’ll be pleased to hear that you can average only about $3-5 an hour.
Yes, Vindale Research claims that they’re the highest paying survey platform on the internet. Their surveys pay from $1 to $10+.
However, on average, users report that they earn about $0.80 for a 10-20 minute survey. These are the most common surveys from what I’ve seen and you should also keep in mind that you have to qualify for each survey.
And that’s where it gets tricky. Many users have reported issues when trying to qualify for surveys. Therefore, if you come across a great survey and you really like it or think of doing it for the money – you might still come across obstacle which isn’t money-related.
If you’re in it to make some quick money (like $10-$30), you’ll be disappointed that the payout threshold is $50. This might not seem like a lot, but when you get paid very little – it might take time for the money to add up.
The slightly positive thing about this platform is that you won’t have a limit on the number of surveys you can make in a day. However, I feel like this will only push you to keep doing surveys to make a decent average which still might not happen as most of the surveys are on the lower end of the payout.
Also, if you’re anywhere outside of the USA, Canada, UK, or Australia – you won’t be able to join the platform at all.
How Much Does Vindale Research Costs?
To join Vindale Research, you won’t have to pay anything. In fact, if you are referred to the platform by another Vindale Research user, you can get $1 as a starter bonus.
Therefore, you’ll be basically paid to join the platform which is a nice gesture, but I recommend that you don’t forget the bad things I’ve written about!
So is Vindale Research a scam? Definitely not. But it’s one of the things where you have to be careful about setting your work time and ensuring that you get paid decently for the time you put into the platform.
And how much money can you earn using Vindale Research?
You can average about $3-$5 an hour which isn’t ideal at all. Considering that the platform only accepts people from certain countries, I don’t see this paying off for anyone from the countries mentioned above.
It would make a lot more sense if the surveys were outsourced to lower-economical countries where such prices might make a huge difference, let alone getting the work.
Is Vindale Research Legit?
So now that you know exactly what is Vindale Research, you’re still wondering whether it’s a good decision to join or not, right?
Vindale Research is legit, but I personally don’t think you should waste your time right there. In fact, I would feel really sorry for you if you joined Vindale Research after reading this post, so don’t do this to me!
I think that you shouldn’t join Vindale Research for two reasons:
- You will not make a lot of money at all and yet the money you can make is not guaranteed as there are issues that can come up (and you will have to meet the threshold which can take a lot of time)
- You are rather better of using the time you’d put into the platform to actually learn a couple of skills and start building your own online business

If you’re in a rush, I recommend freelancing your skill (or getting into freelance writing) if you’re really going after some quick money on the internet.

Is Vindale Research legit? It sure is, but believe me, it’s not the platform you’d want to join no matter how quickly you need to make a bit of money.
It’s a sleek and attractive platform that operates smoothly, but I believe that the survey takers get the least amount of benefits from it while the owners and the survey offerers benefit from it the most.
Therefore, if you’re really in a need of quick cash, start freelancing your skills (or just go down the freelance writing route).
If you’re not in a need of money quickly, you can start learning about affiliate marketing, learn a couple of digital skills, and start creating something of your own (your own online business) that will pay off in the long run.
