What is Deadbeat Super Affiliate?

Deadbeat Super Affiliate is most known as the YouTube channel run by Dan who shares his experience/knowledge and experiments that help him make money online.

I’ve checked out his YouTube channel and I wasn’t very impressed. Deadbeat Super Affiliate works too hard to “brand” its name in ridiculous ways such as wearing the same t-shirt in every video and trying to tell the story of working very few hours to make thousands of dollars.

Along with the YouTube video series that touch on affiliate marketing, niche sites, SEO, and making money online – Deadbeat Super Affiliate also has its own training program.

Down below, I’ll touch on the good and the bad stuff I’ve noticed regarding the brand, YouTube channel, and the paid training program.

There’s no doubt that they can teach some good stuff, but it seems they just love to dive in the gray area and operate from there.

The Good

Training is easy to follow, YouTube channel is well categorized and videos deliver the message. The YouTube channel has a lot of potentials to be a great source for affiliate beginners if they didn’t do a couple of things (more on this in “The Bad” section).

The presentation is definitely there and it seems to flow very well. I personally don’t like a couple of things that help the channel “brand” itself such as using the same t-shirt in every video.

When it comes down to the paid training – I like how it teaches technical aspects in an easy-to-understand way. Also, they promote outsourcing as a way to save time or get something done you think you can’t do.

An active forum that comes included with the training seems to be pretty active. This is definitely an important aspect as surrounding yourself with other people who are learning & working on the same things can be helpful.

However, here’s what I don’t like.

The Bad

cons-of-deadbeat-super-affiliate-program

To be honest, I think the whole brand is a bad idea. Alright, maybe not the whole brand – but the excessive effort that raises red flags.

A great example of this is the message they’re trying to send across which is something like: “Sleepwalk into your first $3,000/month and then sit back and just watch the money coming in”.

To be honest, this made me think at first that Deadbeat Super Affiliate was a complete scam. Combine this with videos created on the topic of a popular celebrity and then starting the video by saying he’s not sure why is he talking about someone else is just a cringe way to promote the channel on someone else’s back.

After all, facial expressions in video thumbnails are more than enough to turn some people away.

If you can withstand Dan and the cringe branding – here’s what’s really bad.

Training focuses on link building which is a big no – especially after frequent algorithm updates. This is just one small thing that could ruin a whole business so building links is a way to run your business down to the ground. I’m not sure why are they still putting so much focus on this.

What used to work before isn’t working today.

I’ve spotted that some recommended products aren’t suitable at all and yet have been associated with scams or grey-hat area and yet are still promoted by the brand just for the commission.

I’ve mentioned outsourcing as a good thing – but I have a feeling that they’re trying to outsource almost everything in the business without actually paying a decent rate. This can only lead to a disaster. If not, you might not even know that your whole business might depend on a $5 gig you’ve placed on Fiverr.

Overpromising and even delusional ideas of not having to work hard (especially in the beginning when it’s all about putting in the work to get a business off the ground) is a bad idea.

overpromises

When it comes down to the price – I believe that the program is way overpriced as there are way better options out there that cost less. One of them is a community I’ve been a member of for 3 years known as Wealthy Affiliate.

How much Does Deadbeat Super Affiliate Membership Cost?

Deadbeat Super Affiliate provides free content on their YouTube channel.

The first affiliate program they run ended up closed. But now they have a second program known as Deadbeat Super Affiliate Reloaded.

You will have to inquire to purchase Deadbeat Super Affiliate Reloaded by email – but the price is $67/month.

I don’t think training included with a forum is worth the price – find out why below!

Why I Think Deadbeat Super Affiliate Isn’t Worth the Price

faults

The most important part of this Deadbeat Super Affiliate review is this section. I believe that Deadbeat Super Affiliate might not be the best-paid training program out there.

Their YouTube content isn’t bad as it provides decent information. But even as a beginner, I believe you’ll be looking for more authoritative sources to learn from very soon.

I think that the Deadbeat Super Affiliate program isn’t worth its price because it’s not a one-time payment and yet it’s a monthly subscription.

When I was starting, I was lucky to come across an educational platform that had training, tools, and community. The platform I’m talking about is the Wealthy Affiliate which has been around for 15 years and yet they are free to join and start, with a pricing plan of only $49/month with all tools such as hosting and keyword research tool included.

Therefore, when I compare the price of an authority platform such as Wealthy Affiliate that offers a lot more than Deadbeat Super Affiliate Reloaded for the price – it’s really a no-brainer decision.

So if you aren’t happy with the Deadbeat Super Affiliate program just like me – feel free to consider joining Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to be a Starter member and you won’t even have to input your credit card details!

Conclusion

It’s crucial to learn from the quality and authoritative sources – so being scammed is bad, but following mediocre content that won’t scam you but might put the whole business you build in jeopardy is on another level of bad.

I was lucky enough to come across an educational platform that has been around for a long time, has a great history, and provides more than just training.

A big part of this was a research – the same research you’re doing right now. So if you’re still reading this post, I hope you learned something valuable.

This will help you to avoid programs that might not be worth your time or money.

  1. Thanks for the review of the deadbeat super affiliate. I some what get what he is doing with the branding and wearing the same shirt, although I see how that could become annoying lol.

I am with you that the “hype” behind some of the claims is very concerning. There is no way possible you can walk your way to $3000. It does not exist and this type of advertising is bad for the internet marketing industry in general, a real turn off.

And you are 100% correct if he is training on link building as the main method of marketing to be very careful, I had sites years ago that I built links to and when the google slap came down I lost all of my business from those sites.

    Thanks again man.

    Cheers

    1. Hi Robb,

      thanks for leaving a comment!

I’m glad you agree. Yes, that’s true. Unfortunately, it’s a great way to create a new “shiny object” that will attract beginners.

I’m sorry to hear that but I hope you were able to recover your business!

      Cheers,

  2. I tried the first edition of Deadbeat Super Affiliate, and honestly, I wasn’t impressed. I’m also a member of WA, and can personally vouch for the legitimacy of the platform.

Don’t get me wrong, both platforms have their pros and cons, but the one unquestionable outweighs the other in terms of quality.

The support you can find at WA is unmatched, and on top of that, they have thousands of success stories to confirm their claims that financial freedom does exist.

I personally haven’t made that much money, but my monthly earnings are more than enough to support my day-to-day costs.

    Anyways, great review!

    1. Hey Gorjan,

I’m glad you tried both and I’m glad you were able to decide on Wealthy Affiliate. I think the difference between these two programs is day and night.

That’s great. It’s a great start and as long as you stay consistent and think long-term – results will start to snowball!

Thank you for leaving a comment!

  3. Very valid points you are making in this review. I totally agree with you that to place emphasis on strategies e.g. link building that does not work anymore, especially with the Google algorithms that constantly change can consume all of your time and all for nothing, as you are focusing on aspects that are not even relevant anymore. I do believe that there is still some room for natural link building (white hat strategy) but automated link building strategies I will agree drives your online business down a cliff.

If you are running an online business and especially a site that accepts payments then you should in the very least make sure that your connection is secure (private).

Promises of overnight success is also far from realistic and not an honest statement and therefore very misleading. This is what made me sign up to WA in the end, their transparency of being honest by mentioning that affiliate marketing is not an overnight rich scheme, it will require hard work and dedication.

    1. Hey Schalk,

yes. What used to work before isn’t working anymore. Definitely! Google is all about ranking top-quality and cutting corners or trying to “fake” it befor you make it is not a possibility.

I’m glad you found Wealthy Affiliate! I’m a member as well and I can only say that the difference between these two programs is day and night.

      Thanks for leaving a comment!

  4. Hi Dario,

Truly an informative article, it’s so essential to choose the right platform to invest in and consider the benefits it will offer in the long run.

It’s true Deadbeat Super Affiliate isn’t up to mark it does require an upgradation, though its videos help newbies to get knowledge about the online business yet it lacks the trust factor and isn’t worth investing in.

But when we look at Wealthy Affiliate it does wonder by offering free starter, it is truly legit when it comes to providing quality services and has proven itself by confirming thousands of success stories.

Thanks for sharing this great stuff!

    Cheers!
